A collaboration between distillery Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie and the artist Daniel Arsham, this 12-year-old is a tribute to the 88-year-old, Balvenie’s oldest ever release and a time capsule of old techniques. Made with 100% home malted barley and finished in sherry butts, this has notes of toffee, ginger, barley sugar, raisins and smooth spices. Housed in textured packaging by the acclaimed Arsham, this is a compelling whisky looking to the distillery’s past through the lens of modern technique.
