Dalmunach 9 Year Old Rare Find 60.6% 70cl A fascinating expression from one of Speyside’s most modern distilleries, released by independent bottler Rare Find. Aged for nine years with a 17-month finish in a first-fill oloroso sherry quarter cask, it’s bold, rich and vibrant. At 60.6% ABV, it’s powerful too – but still a fun and pleasingly generous sip. Official tasting notes: Nose: Lemon sponge, vanilla custard, toffee, hedgerow berries, and a hint of ginger. Palate: Fresh apples, pears, strawberries, raspberries, and redcurrants, with toffee, chocolate walnut, and gingerbread. Finish: Long, fruity, with developing citrus notes.
