Glenkinchie 12 Year Old 43% 70cl From the Lowlands comes this stalwart of the whisky industry, with its fruity and smooth palate this single malt is a perfect pre-dinner, or a sit-down-and-relax dram. Nose: Sweet springtime grass and honey, shortbread and soft whipped cream, hints of vanilla pod and truffles, some soft baked fruit loaf and soft pears add to the aroma. Palate: Lots of soft tones of fruit and light golden honey, baked pears and apples, some Demerara sugar and vanilla, crispy caramel ice-cream cones and soft chewy toffee. A little soft white desert wine notes and some shortbread notes.
