Spirit of North Scotland 1973 His Excellency 25% 70cl A fascinating piece of liquid history here – a grain spirit distilled all the way back in 1973. Not only that, but it was ‘born’ at the family-run North of Scotland Distillery which was only open from 1957-1980. While technically not a Scotch (it’s released at 25% ABV, far below the legal 40%), it is light, zesty, delicate – and thoroughly delicious.
