Aged for over a quarter of a century in first-fill and refill sherry casks, it offers an array of warm spice, orchard fruits and inviting floral notes. A regal, elegant expression. Official tasting notes: Nose: Hints of baked apple, stewed raisin, and cinnamon enhance rich Sherry influences. Sweet liquorice aromas develop enhanced by light floral nuances. A polished oak edge remains. Palate: Sweet and spicy; date, prune, and raisin flavours complement warming pepper. Hints of cinnamon and clove add spice. Tangy blackcurrant notes mix with sweet cherry jam and candied citrus fruit. Finish: A nutty edge balances the lingering oak notes.
