A small batch Ben Nevis 10 Year Old created by marrying together two refill barrels distilled in 2016 and allowing them to mingle for just under a year in an old refill butt. The result is a bright, naturally sweet and gently waxy Highland malt that showcases the distillery's distinctive character without excessive cask influence. Bottled at a highly quaffable 47%, this latest batch of The Teuchter is approachable, characterful and dangerously easy to return to.

It doesn’t quite reach the heights of the Clynelish from this same series, but still presents as pleasant drinker.

Seriously awesome—I wouldn't have expected that. Especially the nose—so beautifully waxy. And yeah, except for the finish—which is a bit herbal; I’m not crazy about that—it’s otherwise a very, very good whisky.

Very pleasant and perfect as a Daily Dram. Nice aroma, pleasantly drinkable, with a slightly short finish. But overall, it's definitely worth your time.

Нос	87	intense with a hint of dust, car repair shop, oily, waxy, quite sweet with honey, green tea, lots of yellow apples, canned peaches, suede leather, young oak
Вкус	87	beginning with a young sip of oak, juice from wet, freshly harvested grass, a bit of wet moss, later turning into waxy sweetness, honeydew apples, juicy mango, peach, ending with pepper
Финиш	86	medium length, spicy, tingling and strongly astringent on the tongue, with a hint of mint mixed with anise, warming

Нос	87	Forest, pine, grassy notes, resin, and wood. A very fresh profile. Accompanied by a slight salty nuance. It leaves a sensation like a breeze blowing through a wooded area. Quite green from start to finish.
Вкус	85	Cheese and pineapple come through. The forest character takes on a slightly grassier quality here. It has a slightly oily and mildly waxy texture. A flavor I might describe as anise or mint also makes itself known.
Финиш	86	A medium-long finish. Tropical fruits take center stage; a noticeable blend of salt and spice accompanies them. A warm finish. The green notes remain present here as well. Very enjoyable and easy to drink.
