This is the fifth edition of Tomatin's Warehouse 6 collection, showcasing some older vintages from their inventory. The 1978 release was distilled on 21st September 1978 and matured for thirty years initially before a final decade in two first-fill Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks. Both casks were bottled on 4th August 2020 after 41 years of maturation, imparting notes of stewed fruits, dark maple syrup, and salted caramel to Tomatin's gentle Highland spirit.
