Macallan Inspired by Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea

Pale gold in the glass with a very subtle tinge of green. Dessert wine aromatics and a sweet bouquet, the extra American oak influence is undeniable. To taste, there is a lot of peach. Refreshing and juicy with a smidgen of sweetness from the ex-bourbon cask giving the peach even more emphasis and increasing the body. On the mid-palate and towards the finish you begin to detect earthy herbal flavours, honeycomb straight out of the hive. The finish is fruity, with dried herbs.
