Oooooooh, yes, this is absolutely tip-top Balvenie! As so very often, Malt Master David Stewart MBE has brought forth a whisky of extraordinary class and surety. Custard-warmed pastries and a beguiling hint of curry leaf support a supremely welcoming nose that gladdens my old-fashioned whisky-loving heart. The palate is utterly without artifice, showing macadamias and shortbread generously smothered in various honeys. The finish is flawless, simply sweetness and light, each in their correct proportions. Pair this with crumbly biscuits and the best symphony Orchestra you can access.
