Wildmoor 23-year-old

Wildmoor, for me, is a shining light in blended whisky, offering unobstructed drinkability without sacrificing any of its character. Some dark cooked fruit on the nose mingles with cool heather. There is plenty of body in this rich, oily and textural dram. It offers an interesting mixture of cola sweetness and caramel fudge with lightly charred, dampened oak. Some gentle tingling spice notes are derived from the Oloroso Sherry cask finish. There are no sharp edges to this whisky, and the flavour palette continues to broaden each time I return to the glass.Eddie Garner, Spirits Account Manager, Berry Bros. & Rudd (November 2025)
