for me this is the same level as the legendary Inchmurrin 15 from Decadent Drinks. Waxy, tropical, absolutely outstanding

Nose: Initially quite closed. Give it around 30 minutes and it opens into exactly what I’ve loved about the recent Decadent Drinks Inchmurrins: a glorious fruit compote. Tinned peaches with vanilla custard and grilled pineapple, while the sherry cask adds depth with chocolate-covered coffee beans and hazelnut spread. After the first sip, the nose is an explosion of mixed fruit juice. Palate: Wonderfully oily, almost chewy. Sweet and intensely fruity with tinned peaches, honey and multivitamin sweets. A refreshing mineral note keeps everything lively, while a touch of freshly cracked black pepper balances the sweetness. Finish: Long and intensely fruity. More tinned peaches, apricots and mangos followed by sweet cereal notes and freshly baked pastries. Rating: A whisky that rewards patience. Give it time and attention and it transforms into a fruit bomb with a phenomenal finish.

Beautiful, fruity, caramelly and zesty whisky. If you compare it to the legendary 15, it's about 75% there, with a lot of the same vibes and DNA , a little less complex, but tasty on its own right. Feels great just from the neck pour. Intersting to see how it will develops, and one of the greater 12 yo i tried this year.

I’m going to be extremely honest with this review. I had low expectations for this whisky. The price was a bit steep at £98 with a 12 year age. I have also never had a decadent drinks bottling. This was a shot in the dark purchase and I’ll say right now…I was very very surprised. I think this is worth the money and drinks way older than the 12 year age statement. I still think this is a tad expensive… but I am sold on trying more from this IB.

Нос	87	Reminds me of opening a fruit cup. Smells of stewed peaches and sugar. As it opens up, the heavier notes of toasted oak, brown sugar, and like a coastal brine show up. It is pleasant and the slight darker notes from the sherry cask are balanced. Perhaps slightly sulphuric but not overly so. Mostly Ex bourbon to me.
Вкус	90	This surprised me! Super oily and full texture. Lots of stewed tropical fruits, peach, and slight sherry sourness. The ex-bourbon presents the toasted sugars and sweet oak in a way that is balanced super well. A really impressive taste for a 12 year….drinks older to me.
Финиш	91	This was the star of the show for me. Very long and coats well. My favorite part…CANDY PEACH RINGSSSS FOR DAYSSS!!!!. Wow… the fruits and toasted oak sugars are here and vibrant.
