Sweet ripe apples, vanilla cream, very light peat flavours, some salt, oak and leather, sweet and oily, warm, balanced, not at all irritating and not watery, nice.

Well, just Bomor is bourbon and diluted (((, the 10-year-old Tempest barrel fortress was also in barrels like FFBB, but clearly brighter, and this is easy to drink, and better in summer, and there is nothing to catch here, the nose still promises, but then just drink. 21+ 20 20 21 82+

What can I say, a whisky that maintains a high level as befits a Bowmore. Already the 10 YO version of Aston Martin was great for me, this 15 YO is even better. First of all, more delicate, with much more fruity notes. And that grapefruit that dominates the taste. It is very sweet, juicy, almost perfect. The honey coating, coated with a delicate smoke mist, makes this whisky a super dram! This is what I like.

I enjoyed this more than I expected in advance. And that's saying something for a Bowmore OB. Maybe there's still hope for modern Bowmores... Tasted on the USNH tasting on May 30 in Deutschland.

Smoky-fruity, citrus zest with floral honey, gentle peat, tart plums and baked fruit, barbecue, salt and spice. Light and drinkable. The strength seems to be around 50. 21.5-22-21-21.5

Ok whisky at a very nice the price. Suits everybody, though as a peat lover of drams at least with 46 abv i would not buy it again. Its so sweet, i would never guess blindly it has been matured only on bourbon cask... Probably a must for the distillery fans but an Islay can definitely do better.
